This article is shows the Lego characters Han Solo, Princess Leia, and an Ewok. In the Star Wars series Han is in love with Leia but in the advertisement Leia is holding hands with the Ewok. The audience this advertisement reaches out towards are the parents of children who are at the age of playing with Legos. The advertisement wants to bring the feeling of the nostalgia to the parents so that they will buy the Lego Star Wars kit for their children. Being an image, the photo is displayed visually and you would most likely see this advertisement on the internet. The designer of this advertisement focused on pathos when making this image. Feelings of pity for Han come to mind since he has his one true love taken from him. On the other hand, the fact that the designer of the add used an Ewok as the fiend who stole Han's significant other adds a comical element to the scene. An Ewok, for those who haven't seen the series and could not tell from the advertisement, is a small furry creature who speaks in strange high pitched squeaks. Leia would never fall in love with this type of creature which keeps the advertisement on a lighter note. If I was to re-mediate this advertisement i would definitely turn it into a mini series. I can imagine going through the story of how this evil Ewok took Leia and brainwashed her into falling in love with him. The rest of the series would be Han fighting to rescue Leia and eventually returning her back to normal.
