Three days have past since we all decided to whole up in the sweet shop after the infection swept through Tallahassee. The dead now walk the streets of town, always searching, always hunting. It all started Sunday morning when Bekah, Kayla, and I were coming back from church. We went to mass at 11:45, later than normal, so we could grab a bite to eat at the Sweet Shop. We decided it would be cute to write our names on the wall to commemorate our friendship together. As soon as we walked out of the church service we saw a huge commotion coming in from the east side of campus. At first it looked like people were just running for fun, but as they drew closer I could see the mass of decaying skin and bones tear through its prey. We all took off running as fast as we could but Bekah started to fall behind. We were screaming at her to catch up but before we knew it.. she had been caught. We sprinted away holding back tears until we heard a yell from the Sweet Shop. "Hey get in here quick," shouted the voice. We bolted into the store and the door slammed behind us. Silence fell over us all as Kayla walked over to the wall, crossed out Bekah's name, and began to cry.
