WITD How is Project #1 Going?

Today I am turning in my final wix page and redoing my missed blog posts. I have had a lot of experience with project 3 over the past few months from turning in my proposal to redoing the project completely. My topic was Michael Jordan and the three artifacts I used were a Ball Park frank ad, an Air Jordan shoe billboard, and a poster for the movie Space Jam which Michael Jordan starred in. A few of the things I learned from this project were the difference between media and mode, how to identify and connect with the target audience, and how deep you can delve into the connection that advertisements make. I used an outline the second time I wrote this essay and it was much easier to keep my thoughts together and not get side tracked like i had the first time. My big breakthrough for this essay was when I got advice on the way I should approach things like the audience. The audience let me connect to things like, why was the ad displayed the way it was? What kind of colors did they use and why? And where would this advertisement be seen if not on the internet.
